AAJ President Sounds Off On Forced Arbitration

On Wednesday, Oct. 25, American Association for Justice president Burton LeBlanc appeared on the Ed Schultz Radio Show with guest host Mike Papantonio to discuss the dangers forced arbitration can have on small businesses and consumers.

The interview came on the heels of the release of the American Assocation for Justice's report on how forced arbitration clauses are routinely buried in the fine print of contracts and secretly abolish many of the safeguards the civil justice system provides.

"This is corporate American's trojan horse," LeBlanc said. "They are using arbitration to strip way the rights of small business owners and Americans and consumers all over the country and few of us know that it exists. This is a travesty for Democracy."
